Position Summary:

The main function of this position is to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, cycle count, inventory, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products on either pallets or slip sheets. The associate will be responsible for operating technical warehouse equipment, optimize loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure efficient operation of the daily business.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Able to lift to 70 pounds.
  • Operate forklift, high reach or other pallet moving equipment.
  • Computer literacy and good communications skills with attention to detail
  • Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory.
  • Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company.
  • Perform cycle counts as required.
  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places.
  • Locate, pick, pack and move products to pallets or crates for production, storage, or shipment.
  • Identify and report safety hazards in the workplace.
  • Location maintenance including consolidating partial pallets of products.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed to maintain the shift production rate.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions including those dealing with dimensions and quantity.
  • Spanish and English a plus
  • Prior experience and equipment certification a plus.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and/or nightshifts
  • Inventory and picking experience a plus
