Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual with compliance, audit, or analyst experience to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.  This position will assist the Compliance Manager in the daily operational and administrative tasks concerning ISO, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.  The appropriate candidate will be a motivated team player with an eagerness to learn and an ability to quickly respond and adapt. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Compliance Manager with all matters related to company’s certifications (ISO, FSC, etc.), environmental permitting/reporting, and adherence to other local, state, and federal regulations
  • Administer health and safety training company wide in accordance with OSHA requirements
  • Collaborate with managers from all departments to identify and implement continuous process improvement, error reduction, and compliance with operating guidelines established by the company’s Quality Management System
  • Administer the corrective action process and assist managers in completing nonconformance and corrective action reports
  • Work with department managers to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure procedures and activities are followed
  • Evaluate and qualify new suppliers & subcontractors, and audit and monitor the performance of current providers
  • Source and/or conduct appropriate training for employees based on their job requirements
  • Identify, maintain, and distribute documents, records, and communications in compliance with both company QMS policies, and local, state, and federal requirements
  • Record keeping and other duties and tasks as assigned by the Compliance Manager


Required Education/Experience
  • 2-year degree or relevant experience in an environmental or other regulatory role, or equivalent work experience in a regulatory, compliance, audit, or analyst role
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Detailed oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and tolerate shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work individually and as part of collaborative team across various departments
  • Strong computer and technical skills including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
PREFERRED
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, specifically ISO 9001:2015
  • Experience in the printing industry
  • Awareness of cosmetic or pharmaceutical supplier protocol
  • Knowledge of cGMP processes and recordkeeping requirements
  • Spanish speaking a plus
