SUMMARY

Hatteras Sales Account Executives are responsible for achieving or exceeding revenue goals by developing new business, maintaining long-term client relationships and contributing to the overall success of the company. The position requires the ability to think strategically and effectively present print-based marketing solutions to clients that align with their business goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our business, our solution lines and our target markets
  • Ability to successfully sell complex solutions that incorporate marketing, technology and workflow/process design related to custom print, mailing, packaging and fulfillment solutions
  • Must be able to offer print solutions that effectively meet a client's business objectives
  • Develop business plans for accounts to meet or exceed sales, marketing and customer satisfaction goals
  • Present Hatteras capabilities and proposals virtually or in-person, with the ability to overcome objections
  • Act as the primary liaison between Hatteras and your clients
  • Assume complete ownership of developing business and managing the sales process including lead generation, prospecting, pricing, proposal development, credit establishment and billing
  • Ability to adapt to new sales methods as needed to adjust to the fast-paced and continuously changing printing industry and business landscape
  • Must understand and adapt to new technologies, understand what trends are impacting marketing and print, and keep up with the latest social media trends
  • Ability to think creatively and be a constant resource to clients

       

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Prior B-to-B outside sales experience
  • Experience with cold calling, networking and business development skills
  • Prior print or promotional product sales experience is highly desired
  • Experience cultivating lasting relationships with prospective clients
  • Must possess a high-level of professional communication, presentation, negotiation and writing skills.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with a competitive spirit.
  • Ability to successfully work as part of a team and independently
  • Highly proactive in prospecting for new business
  • Excellent presentation and closing skills
  • Positive attitude, high energy, driven to succeed
