We are currently looking for a Prepress Operator.

Position Summary:
The Press Operator will be responsible for ripping and processing files, loading material, printing graphics using several different wide format output devices, monitoring color, and quality and counts of output. The operator will also be responsible for understanding job tickets and requirements. Checking material as needed will be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• A working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Familiar with Caldera and Fiery RIP systems
• Must be able to review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing
• Maintain daily print job production logs
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality

Required Education/Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Having some knowledge of graphic arts and printing industry is very beneficial to this position.
• Working knowledge of digital printing procedures.
