JOB TITLE: Production Planner
DEPARTMENT: Production
REPORTS TO: Team Lead

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Serve as the "Producer" ensuring all j
obs are completed accurately within budget.
• Ensure you have clear understanding of all customer requirements
• Deliver all products on-time in compliance with customer and Hatteras requirements
• Manage all internal and vendor communications to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded
• Create a great customer experience by producing and delivering world-class print products


SUPPORTING TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide consultation to Sales,
Customer Service and Customer on best production practices creating the best results as it relates to each project
• Communicate with Sales, Customer Service, scheduling and manufacturing to coordinate accurate production and on-time delivery of customer deliverables
• Schedule meetings to review complex jobs with all relevant managers
• Ensure job is planned within given budget for high quality, accurate production and on-time delivery
• Ensure all materials required for the job are accurately delivered within the appropriate time frame - paper, dies, cartons, etc...
• Assist with all "Customer Oks" when clients are on-site
• Coordinate the on-time delivery of outside materials in adherence with scheduling requirements
• Coordinate and communicate with plant managers and supervisors to ensure schedule and quality requirements are met
• Negotiate with outside vendors to ensure best price and schedule is obtained
• Ensure accurate delivery and all shipping information is complete
